Greylock Together Book Group

April 13, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

A new book group is starting.  Our inaugural book is “Hillbilly Elegy.” Even if you didn’t read it, come to share your thoughts and ideas for organizing this group and helping to decide on future selections.
Looking forward to seeing you there, but please RSVP if you think you might come so I know how many to expect. Thanks, Pam pwax@bcn.net or @pwax.

Due to the Passover holiday and dietary restrictions, please do not bring outside food into the synagogue for this meeting. Snacks will be provided.

From Wikipedia:

Hillbilly Elegy: A Memoir of a Family and Culture in Crisis is a memoir by J. D. Vance about the Appalachian values of his upbringing and their relation to the social problems of his hometown. The book topped The New York Times Best Seller list in August 2016 and January 2017.
